BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University women’s basketball coach Robin Harmony announced that three student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play for Lamar next season.
Signing with the Lady Cardinals are Teleshia Riley, Addesha Collins and April Levy. All three are junior college transfers.
The 5-foot-10 Riley, a native of Brampton, Ontario, comes to Lamar from Tallahassee Community College. Ranked as the 31st best junior college prospect, Riley will play the wing for Lamar. As a freshman at Tallahassee CC, she averaged 5.1 points per game last season.
“Teleshia is an excellent defender,” Harmony said. “She’s very athletic and is a good defender. She will have an immediate impact. I’m excited that we will have her for three years.
