We heard some news was coming down the pipeline in regards to Boys Basketball in the GTA & now South Western Ontario (SWO) and the news happened to be UPLAY Canada making the big jump from the Adidas Circuit to the prestigious Nike EYBL Summer AAU Circuit.
With CIA Bounce as the original Nike Team in Canada the move to add UPLAY should be considered a good one given the growing talent in the SWO + Hamilton & Kitchener-Waterloo area.
This move also makes sense as UPLAY seems to have more than a few players at U.S Prep Schools within the U16 age group performing extremely well drawing attention to the Club and themselves.
Based on the reports is appears UPLAY has a 2 year deal with room for growth as the talent comes in and based on their performance on the circuit on the U16 level and then on the U17 level the following years.
