Royals Basketball Camp
REGISTRATION FOR 2015 CAMP NOW OPEN!
The ROYALS Basketball Camp is a 10-week training program that allows elite players to develop their skills throughout the summer.
The ROYALS Basketball Camp will run 1 night per week. Players will be taught one facet of the game each session. They will be put through an intense workout and be given drills to be used while training on their own. Each successive session will include a review of the previous week before the next topic is taught.
Week 1: Ball Handling, Moves on the Move
Week 2: Form Shooting
Week 3: Shooting on the Move, Getting Open
Week 4: Attacking the Rim
Week 5: Finishing at the Rim
Week 6: Post Play
Week 7: Transition Attacks
Week 8: Penetration and Reaction
Week 9: 1 vs 1, 3 vs 3
Week 10: Competitions
2015 Camp Dates & Times
Ages 10-12 –6:30-8:00pm Monday's May 25th – July 27th
Ages 12-14 –6:30-8:00pm Wednesday's May 20th – July 29th
Ages 14+ –8:00-9:30pm Wednesday's May 20th – July 29th
Camp Coordinators
Jamie Girolametto - Head Coach Redeemer Men's Basketball (3rd year). 16 years experience. Coached Club, all levels of High School, and was an assistant at McMaster University. Won multiple championships. Produced many CCAA, CIS, and NCAA athletes.
Sean Sabourin – Assistant Coach Redeemer Men’s Basketball (3rd year). Coach Sabourin has been with Coach Girolametto for 9 years, both at St. Mary CSS and now Redeemer. Coach Sabourin has a wealth of knowledge and is outstanding at skill development.
Counselors – Current members of the Redeemer University College Men’s Varsity Basketball Team.
**** The ROYALS Basketball Camp will be limited to 40 dedicated players per night to ensure a maximum 6:1 player/coach ratio.
Camp Fees = $150 per player. Price includes all 10 sessions plus an official Camp reversible.
