Who We Are
The Toronto Gauchos Youth Basketball Assosiation is a year round Organization serving more than 300 boys and girls who live primarily in the Toronto Metropolitan area. Founded in 2003, it is in its 10th year and has long been recognized for its success and leadership in the field of youth development.
The purpose of the program is to encourage excellence in sports as a way of encouraging and advancing excellence in academics, developing constructive personal goals, achieving sound moral standards and providing an extended family to assist young people in becoming valuable contributors of their community.
Mission Statement
The Toronto Gauchos promote athletic development, educational advancement, strength of character and successful lives for under served youth. We accomplish our mission by:
- -Encouraging academic excellence through afterschool and extracurricular programs;
- -Helping youth establish and achieve short- and long-term personal goals;
- -Promoting the development of strong moral character and the value of fair play; and,
- -Providing a support system to ensure youth -become valuable
