6 1 mild calm beast that is the way to describe this young man. Jalen is in a gym everyday to the point that you think he has room and board. Jalen Butler is a combo guard that has a high basketball IQ that is beyond his years. He plays the 1 like a true point, setting up his team mates up first and looking for his shot second. He doesn't dance he only moves from side to side like 3 6 mafia when he setting the defender up for his finishing move. Just too strong, then you ask him to switch hats to the SG position then he is in attack mode. When Jalen takes that jump shot you can slide a red wagon underneath him and you know how lefty's do, its almost as smooth as Ray Allen's Jumper the Seattle days.
Defending Jalen can be a handful for any young player you get close he beats you off the dribble and if you play off him he will beat you with his outside Jumper... Defenders are left scratching their heads playing against this kid. Jalen is not aware of his actual talent and ability to him he did nothing special at all but play the game. Jalen is a must see guard .. Jalen Butler plays for Upper Canada College (UCC) where he will be on the varsity team putting in work with at the PG & SG position ..
