FHC EARLY BIRD Tournament MVP John Akende - GTA STAR BALLER
John Akende has been a Star Baller middle School if not before the story goes he used to play with his cousins teams OBA or Rep 2 years older and it was only when his older cousin failed to make a team is was discovered John was in fact in Grade 8 and found himself on Mike George's CIA Bounce Super Team for Grade 8 boys born 1999. John made an immediate impact on that team and now on the current version of FHC Sr. Basketball Team. Keep in mind John is only in Grade 11 with another guaranteed year of Sr. Basketball left and already putting in dominant performances game to game John's true potential has yet to realized on the Basketball Court.
Projections : John projects as a 1 or a small 2 guard for his future it would be best that he learn to play the PG position as he is under 6'3 however he is a natural shooter and scorer meaning "Combo Guard" is his natural position but at under 6'3 PG should be a day to day consideration.
Future : CCAA/CIS/NCAA John could play in any of these leagues in the near future it all depends on him really his athleticism puts him in the NCAA category we are 100% sure John Akende will have a post secondary opportunity to play he is that good.
