Junior BASKETBALL PEEL REGION / PRE-SEASON RANKINGS ROPSSAA
1. St. Marguerite d'Youville (BRAMPTON) -
Returning Guard Play - Nishaan Brar and the new recruits from grade 9 & Grade 10 this school is always loaded with talent they will be looking to make it back to the Jr. Finals
2. St.Roch (BRAMPTON) -
Experienced team they had a good # of Grade 9's last year on the Championship Team .. Rashawn and Dylan Nelson + many others will lead this team to success this season.
3. XAVIER (MISS) -
Talented Mississauga Team with Bumboy and Avan leading the guard play they will be a problem for any HS back court to handle at the Jr. Level
4. ST.THOMAS AQUANIUS (BRAMPTON) -
Most of the boys on this team play REP together with Star PG Jacob Jimenez they should be a major headache for teams from Brampton this team looking to make a move up.
5. MOUNT CARMEL (MISS) -
If Ben Hendriks plays Junior this Season they have a chance to win any game they were a good team last season however with seasoning they should be even better in Grade 10.
6. ST.EDMUND CAMPION (BRAMPTON) -
Last year was a let down this season should be redemption for Campion with Matthew Green, Ethan Santos, Ethan Nelles and Kevontae returning + the anticipated arrival of CIA Bounce guard Kobe Elvis this season should be tremendous
7. BRAMPTON CENTENNIAL (BRAMPTON) -
This team was nice last season in tournament play but horrible in League play .. Antonio Roach and the speedy PG they have not sure of his name but dude can hoop we expect Brampton Centennial to make noise this season.
8. Father Geotz (MISS) -
Always good and well coached returning a ton of grade 9's so they know the system only concern with them would be a very small back court however they trap and run nice team should be one of the better teams in Ssauga - Sasha and Adam leading the way.
9. Cardinal Ambrozic (Brampton) -
10. St. Joan of Arc (MISS) -
Sleeper team they will be nice this season yet again with Anthony Daidu at Centre and a host of speedy guards.
Honourable Mention:
1. GLENFOREST - (MISSISSAUGA) - Sleeper lots of unknown talent last year caused a few upsets last season could be a team to watch.
2. APPLEWOOD - (MISSISSAUGA) -
Looking to make noise in the back court this season they have added a few new Rep players from RUN'n Dunk Academy plus returning Combo Guard Roshon White, Coaching is key for this team with Head Coach Warren Williams a Provincial Team Coach.
3. DAVID SUZUKI - (BRAMPTON) - Looking for Kameron David to have a break out season along with other Rep Players at Suzuki they have more than enough to be good.
The season kicks off November for the Early Tournaments we will see where the chips fall for the 2000 & 2001 boys this Season.
