Bishop Reding HS in Milton, Ontario in recent years has be known in Halton as a school where Basketball is played and coached at a high level much of the success is due to the influence of the Milton Stags in the community producing and training seasoned OBA players who transition into HS Basketball easily and successfully on the court.

Coach Shane Bascoe who has made his mark on Milton Basketball in the last 5 years via the Stags-Elite Program & briefly with the Bishop Reding program. We all know  Christian David's time at the school has come to and end he will not be returning this season with the Bishop Reding Senior Basketball Team it would seem as Christian has left the program for Prep School in the U.S the program has cut ties with Coach Bascoe.

This seems a very odd move by Bishop Reding seeing as the school is viewed by many parents as a good place to place the better players in the city of Milton due to the Stags affiliation and Coach Bascoe's experience in the community and as a Coach why would any HS program part ways with a OCAA/CCAA award winner for Coaching not to mentiona an Elite trainer and coach all for free at the HS level.

The whole stay and play argument ends when even the schools perceived as having great coaches and resources fail to keep them or value them.
