GameShooter Sport arrived at Session #3 in Richmond Hill to participate and observe the CYBL this weekend and we must say the event should be considered one of the better pure "BASKETBALL" events in Ontario its almost like a Mini Ontario Cup each time you attend with a great atmosphere and constant action. 

Teams we noticed this time around Session #3

1. Mississauga Knights Grade 8 :

    This team features 2 very serious Prospects #35 & #11 the "Twins" as they are known originally 

    former members of the BMBA Warriors who were then cut from the CIA Bounce Squad this past       fall the two boys found themselves on the Knights giving them room to really show there talent and     skill.  The Knights are a good team however with #35 & #11 the team should be a very dangerous       and competitive squad capable of beating most teams within the Major Bantam Division.

2. Waterloo WildHawks Grade 7 :

    This team seems to be on a steady climb within the competitive Grade 7 Division and look to be in     the hunt for a top 3 spot within the CYBL based on what we witnessed this weekend they are now       a legitimate contender for the top spot with 2 more sessions remaining it is very possible for this         team to go 6-2 in the next 2 sessions moving them up the ranks significantly.

    The WildHawks came up with a Big win vs Bounce #1 Bantam in a upset the Hawks came and left     the GTA 4-0 a great weekend of Basketball for the boys from Waterloo.

3.  Bayan Grade 8 :

     Bayan provided the upset of the weekend by defeating last years OBA champs Burlington it                appears the fear of Burlington has worn off in this age group with Bayan pressing the entire game      relentlessly and hitting 3's and lay-ups with variety this game was spirited from start to finish          the energy provided by the Bayan fans. Bayan should be a team to watch next session in the Grade      8 Division clearly they can beat almost anyone. 

4.  CIA BOUNCE Grade 5 :

     This little team playing up with the big boys in Grade 6 keeps coming up with W's they went 3-1        this weekend only losing to YAACE #1 this weekend and playing a thriller with Waterloo                  WildHawks Grade 6 the second part of a great match-up these 2 teams should play every                    weekend the match-up and tactics deployed by both teams at such a young age are amazing.

5.  CIA BOUNCE Grade 8 :

     Just another day at the office for CIA Bounce Grade 8 the boys went 4-0 each weekend averaging        90+ points per contest basically if you cant keep up to that pace you don't really have a chance.            Great team play and great shot making by all members this is a team of great finishers and                  confident players no loss's in Canada this year.
