GAMESHOOTER SPORT CYBL SESSION 1 OSHAWA REVIEW :
GAMESHOOTER SPORT entered the CYBL this weekend with an open mind and opinion as to the quality of the event
and the venue we went in with no real expectations as to what we would experience in regards to a Basketball perspective.
We were pleasantly surprised the event was very well run games rolled out on time the quality of Competition second to none
when compared to OBA Tournaments or similar Leagues such as the ABS the Atmosphere within the Gym for the 2 days reminded us of
an AAU Experience the CYBL was the place to be this past weekend hands down if you enjoy High Level Youth Basketball.
Event Stats :
1000+ Spectators not including players (Meaning over 2300+ participants in some form at this regional event) and at $5.00 per spectator (FAN NON-PLAYER) you can see their is an Economy to Basketball people will pay to watch and participate in a well run event with Elite Teams.
: Teams from Grade 6-8 (Boys) Competing in this event / Open Play no shifts / Zone D allowed all ages (This is what the People want and it worked no complaints the kids all adjusted to real basketball at the grade 5-6 level)
: Combination of Non-OBA Teams and OBA Teams participating at one event the kids were able to take on all comers regardless of AAU or OBA Registration restrictions for certain clubs this event was the full spectrum of Basketball in the GTA /
OBA Teams we noticed : Waterloo WildHawks, Ancaster Magic, Mississauga Wolverines, UPLAY, BAYAN, London Ramblers, Burlington, CIA Bounce, YAACE, MOTION, OYBA
NON OBA TEAMS : K-ELITE, TRIPPLE BALANCE, HOOPS CANADA, 21HOOPS, CANADA ELITE, WC2PLAY, PEEL ELITE, DEENUP

TOP TEAMS AT THE CYBL SESSION 1 :
1. CIA BOUNCE GRADE 8 (BEST TEAM IN THE EVENT MOST TALENT PER PLAYER THEY RAN THROUGH ALL OPPONENTS EASILY)
2. CANADA ELITE GRADE 8 (2ND BEST TEAM IN THE EVENT NICE SQUAD TONS OF TALENT)
3. TEAM BREAKDOWN GRADE 6 ( BIG ATHLETIC SQUAD FROM BRAMPTON / GOOD SIZE GREAT TEAM WORK/ EXCELLENT UNIFORMS "BIG UP JAMAICA")
4. CIA BOUNCE GRADE 5 (THESE BOYS ARE PLAYING IN THE GRADE 6 DIVISION 3-1 First Session AND COULD BE THE MOST ENTERTAINING TEAM IN THE CIRCUIT)
5. BURLINGTON GRADE 8 (ISBA) : (IF YOU LIKE EUROPEAN BASKETBALL SHOOTING/PASS CUT/ PENETRATE AND PITCH BALL VERY NICE TEAM TO WATCH PLAY)
WE NOTICED THE ABOVE TEAMS BALLING HARD AS WELL AS PLAYING AN EXCITING STYLE OF BASKETBALL

FINAL OPINION ON THE CYBL:
THE LEAGUE IS GREAT BETTER THAN MOST OBA TOURNAMENTS WE HAVE ATTENDED INCLUDING COMPETING LEAGUES THUS FAR BASED ON SESSION 1
MOST PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE WILL AGREE THAT IF YOUR CLUB IS SERIOUS ABOUT COMPETITION THEY SHOULD PUT A FEW TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE
AND UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF A REAL BASKETBALL ATMOSPHERE AS WELL AS PLAYING WHO EVER IS PUT IN FRONT OF YOU.
WE CAN TELL YOU THIS WHEN THE GRADE 9-12 BOYS SEASON STARTS FOR CYBL FOR 2015 ITS GOING TO AMAZING BEST BASKETBALL IN THE GTA.
