Chad Johnson makes Alouettes debut in CFL preseason game

For the first time since the 2012 NFL preseason, Chad Johnson was in uniform and on a football field Friday night. Of course, the man formerly known as Ochocinco has taken his talents north of the border to play for the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.
The Alouettes played their second of two preseason games Friday night, hosting the expansion Ottawa RedBlacks in Montreal, and it was Johnson's first action for his new team.
It didn't take long for Johnson to leave his mark, as on Montreal's first play from scrimmage, Johnson caught a 13-yard pass from former Heisman Trophy winner and current Alouettes quarterback Troy Smith.
The catch would be Johnson's only reception of the game, with it being the preseason and his first with a new team, his snaps were extremely limited.
The RedBlacks went on to win the game 29-10, dropping Montreal to 0-2 in the preseason. Johnson and the Alouettes will get things going for real when they open the regular season July 4 with a home date against the B.C. Lions.
