Report: Magic may attempt 'blockbuster trade' for Wiggins or Parker depending on lottery results

The Orlando Magic will own two top-14 picks in the 2014 NBA Draft. The exact positioning of those picks has yet to be determined, but according to Brian K. Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel, the team may attempt to pull a "blockbuster trade" to grab one of this year's top prospects if their draft lottery results are less than favorable.
Wiggins and Parker are both projected as top-three prospects in this year's draft. Orlando is assured a top-six selection with its own pick, and will also receive a first-round selection from either the Denver Nuggets or New York Knicks.
Chuck Myron of HoopsRumors.com speculates that the Magic could use their second lottery pick (which, as of right now, is 12th overall) to move up in the draft or, alternatively, in a package deal with shooting guard Arron Afflalo to land a second-tier player.
I think Afflalo and the No. 12 would be a pretty intriguing package to throw at another team, and it would be an opportunity to accelerate the rebuilding process in Orlando (which GM Rob Hennigan has been reluctant to do, by the way). I don't think it would be enough to grab a superstar like Rondo or Love, but maybe a guy on the next tier. If you're thinking of trades that could allow the Magic to move up from No. 12, I don't think they'd trade Afflalo to do so. They'll have enough young pieces as is, and I don't think they want to get rid of a productive veteran who doesn't seem to cause trouble.
