Mississauga High School Basketball next year will have to make Room for a new Arrival in 6'5 Grade 8 Centre Ben Hendriks he will be attending Mount Carmel Catholic School next season with the Intention of playing Junior Boys Basketball for the Crusaders.. as SuperStar Cassidy Ryan leaves Mount Carmel for NCAA Div 1 Canisius Ben Hendriks will arriving to fill the Basketball void at 6'6 he is hard to miss for a Grade 8 Basketball player and by the time school starts he will be even bigger.
People will ask can Ben Dunk yes of course he can but that will not be all he contributes to the School and team Ben brings a wealth of experience is playing for Bounce Sedore and Baker at the Rep level and looks to continue his winning ways in High School ..
Attributes of Ben Hendriks (aka -The Big Chill)
1. Defense and Rebounding are BEN's 2 Biggest Assets right now he's an active Centre at 6'6 and will be an excellent rim protector in his High School career
2. Ben has always had the ability to shoot from the elbow and free throw a line a great attribute for any big man now and in the future.
3. Ben is an above average Athlete for his size he runs well and jumps very well for a kid this tall so young & constantly working to get better and improve his skill set.
4. Ben is a great team member and brings a great attitude to any team Ben in the next 2 years will be Humble SuperStar he projects to be 6'10 -7ft we can imagine the impact he will have in Grade 12 at that size.
When Ben Steps on the court this fall at Mount Carmel in Mississauga he will be an instant impact player on the High School level expecially vs Grade 9 and 10's it will be exciting to see Ben discover all of his abilities as he gains strength and becomes used to his body.
