Jalen King should be considered a steal for the OCAA & the Humber Hawks at every level Jalen has proven to be on the same level as some of the more highly recruited and celebrated within his class however its a known fact some guys get overlooked and undervalued within the scouting and recruiting system.
The fact is his #'s don't lie ask anyone who has faced him in competition the kid can score and pass from the point guard position and is an above average defender and competitor the only knock on him is he is only 5'11 at best which should not be a big draw back playing PG. Humber having already won the CCAA Championship is in a situation where the rich are only getting richer with this addition and CJ Bennett from Campion expect Humber to win a few more with great recruiting like this.
Many of the CCAA & CIS schools should take note of Humber College and the way they approach and recruit the top domestic players they actually recruit them they don't wait for failure and then approach they approach as the best option not as a fall back and the kids are buying in and accepting we hate when Canadian Schools complain about the kids leaving why complain when your barely trying to recruit the kids or make a legitimate effort to show them value.
Jalen King will be a big time player in the OCAA in the near future make no mistake
